DIG INFORMATION

1. Superior Seal & Paving, Inc. recommeds that the homeowner does not take day off from work and wait for dig-out (delays, setbacks or complications may occur).
2. Sometimes after dig out, the grade of the driveway may be higher or lower than that of the lawn. Superior Seal & Paving, Inc. is not responsible for any landscaping that may arise from this situation.
3. Superior Seal & paving, Inc. will re-use existing stone in the driveway if we deem ston eto be beneficial to the job.
4. If excessive rain or equipment problems arise, there maybe a delay in our original booking date.We will be in contact if problems occur.
5. In some cases, the digging process may take more than one day to complete.
6. If tree (s) or stump (s) impede driveway area and Superior Seal & Paving, Inc. cannot remove - property owner will be responsible for hiring a tree service to remove at thier own expense before we can resume work.
7. After digging:  Owner may drive on the driveway, unless it is blocked off.
8. The driveway will be rolled and fine-tuned the day of paving.
9. Concrete:  If Superior Seal & Paving, Inc. cannot remove existing concrete; the homeowner will be responsible for the sot of a jackhammer or other tools that may be needed. (Note:  This problem is rare and usually unseen.)  Superior Seal & Paving, Inc. will not be held responsible for damage to sidewalks, concrete, bricks, pipes, retaining walls, etc., that machines must go over to do the job correctly and efficiently. Any damage will be a direct cost to the customer.
10. If you have any concerns or changes before or after digging, please call promptly.
11. Please read back of estimate contract.
12. Binder will not be applied on the same day as digging.  Soft driveways can take up to 2 weeks for proper settling.
13. Superior Seal & Paving, Inc. will contact U.F.P.O. to mark your properties and utilities. The homeowner is responsible for making Superior Seal & Paving, Inc. aware of any drains, dog fences, wells and / or septic systems (new or old) in driveway area, as well as any personally installed utilities before we excavate.
14. If you have bery specific design issues, arrange to meet with the estimator one (1) week prior to dig-out date to mark them out in paint.
15. Any change made to the design after dig-out crews have left: Minimum $500 charge for additions.
16. Superior Seal & Paving, Inc. shall not be held responsible for disputes of property lines. These issues should be resolved before any digging begins.
17. Once customer has approved dig-out for paving, and paving is completed - any alterations will be a direct cost to the customer/homeowner.
18. If building permits are required , they shall be obtained & paid for by home/property owner.
19. Superior Seal & Paving, Inc. can not remove any city/town sidewalk without authorized written permission from customer's township.
